**Dear Nancy Hardaway,**
Your letter of March 25th has been on my desk all these weeks as a constant reminder of you, but in the crowding in about me, of the many things I have to do, I am delayed all along the time.
I was touched by your contribution of two one dollar bills that were sold at a good exchange and used for postage.
I am pleased to know of your activities in the Baha'i Faith and that you are studying the Book of Answered Questions by 'Abdu'l Baha that was published in 1908. Since that time there have been so many changes. People no longer are interested in Biblical Prophecy. Science now occupies their minds.
Therefore we now in teaching the coming of the day of Judgement should explain to the people about the coming change in the position of the poles of the Earth and the slip of the crust of the Earth that causes the inundation of continents and the lakes of Fire and Brimstone and the removal of mountains as described by Saint John the Divine in His prophetic mission of things that are to happen in these Latter Days upon Earth in which two thirds of the people on Earth will perish. Much is being discovered in these days regarding these World Calamities that come in cycles of about a thousand years each and the seers such as Saint Malachi, the Irish Catholic Saint of Arimog, Nostradamus, Erich of Mayance and Athens are telling us much.
In the Readers Digest of November 1967 is a most interesting and informative article that I hope all Baha'is will read and study upon this subject.
You write that your mother lived in her 95th year. I am now in my 95th year (5x19=95). I have not always been careful of my life, but now as I grow older I am more careful. I now have an adopted Son half my age and he is caring and looking out for me most devotedly.
You write me of your being poisoned by food or something you may have drank. I have had that trouble in America before I came to Italy. The people don't eat out of cans as we do in America. Meats and fruits and vegetables are not preserved but are eaten fresh.
It is very important that we go out from the Baha'i groups of Friends and make contacts with <u>new people</u> and tell them our message of the coming of this new Day of God.
I am sending Charley Murphy my messages and he is sending this out all over the Baha'i World for me.
The latest of these relates to the Four and Twenty Elders treated of in the Revelation of Saint John.
Already I have appointed the first <u>five</u> (5) of these Elders or Pro Guardians.
From now on you will be hearing more about these Elders that are mentioned by 'Abdu'l Baha on page 67 of Answered Questions.
Shoghi Effendi knew nothing about the 24 Elders because He built His Administration upon the Babi Faith and not upon the Baha'i Faith. This has caused all this confusion.
One can do but little to rectify this confusion except to forget about it and say nothing about our Babi dispensation.
Now it is necessary that we give the Message of Baha'u'llah and of His Dispensation that is that of the 24 Elders!
